OIC Cleaning was established in 1982 by Frank Mc Ewen, initially as a commercial cleaning specialist. Since that time, the company has continued to grow and currently has over 180 employees, remaining one of the largest and most successful Irish Family-owned cleaning contractors’ company in Leinster. Backed many years of experience, OIC Cleaning has the knowledge and expertise to provide professional commercial cleaning for the public and private sector within the Greater Dublin area.
Role Overview:
As the Industrial Division Manager at OIC Cleaning Ltd, your primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the Industrial Division. This entails meticulous coordination and planning of the industrial team's activities to align with client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct canvassing and pricing activities to achieve the targeted turnover.
Cultivate strong client relationships through site visits, audits, and meetings with foremen and site managers.
Perform pre-work inspections, such as assessing potential glass damage before project commencement.
Inspect cleaning work to ensure compliance with company standards.
Secure written confirmation from the main contractor for any additional time and material work.
Ensure timely submission of signed work dockets to the office.
Oversee the removal of all stock and equipment from the site upon job completion.
Manage all industrial and one-off DOC related business, including window cleaning.
Recruit, induct, and train staff, managing drivers, supervisors, and cleaning operatives.
Handle vehicle fleet management, ensuring fitness for purpose, maintenance, and PAT testing of equipment and vehicles.
Ensure completion of jobs within the designated staffing levels and budget.
Uphold health and safety regulations, OIC procedures, and main contractor health and safety rules.
Manage employee records, sign off on the fortnightly payroll, and ensure accurate and timely submission of timesheets.
Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures.
Conduct weekly industrial meetings.

Ideal Candidate:

Demonstrated experience in managing client services within the cleaning industry.
Proven ability to build strong client relationships through site visits, audits, and meetings with foremen and site managers.
Experience in canvassing and pricing work to achieve turnover targets.
Strong people management skills.
Essential possession of a full and clean driver's license.
Excellent proficiency in written and verbal English.
Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Ability to work independently as the manager of an industrial cleaning team.
Highly organized, efficient, and demonstrated time management skills.
