At The Ballygarvan Nurseries, we wish to appoint a Horticulture Worker to join our team in Ballygarvan, Co. Cork, Ireland. The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in helping to maintain plant & crop health.
Key responsibilities:
· Assistant with Plant Health Regimes in our Nursery
· Maintain the health of plants in the nursery on a daily basis, following daily feeding regimes
· Remove harmful insects and unhealthy stems, optimising plant health
· Inspect new plants arriving to the nursery to ensure they are disease free
· Ensure hygiene and safety standards are always followed, ensuring that your work area is maintained to be a clean and safe place to work in.
Requirements:

• Able and willing to follow instructions
• Problem solving skills and good decision making skills
• Ability to communicate in English
• Previous experience is not necessary

This position of horticulture worker is full time, 37 hours per week with an hourly rate of €14.79
