Leane’s Fitted Furniture Manufacturing are looking for a General Operative to join our team.
Leane’s are a SME based in Killarney, Co. Kerry with retail sales outlets in Kerry.
From our Killarney base we service retail customers in Kerry and contract work around the country. All products are manufactured in our 20’000 square foot factory to the highest of standards. We operate a full range of CNC machinery, while also utilizing more traditional methods for our bespoke projects.
Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Product processing with use of CNC machine
• Assembly of products
• Wrapping and preparation of products for delivery
• Conduct quality checks on units being delivered and report any issues
• Load delivery trucks
• Ensure that all waste is disposed of in the appropriate waste bin
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring high standards of housekeeping
• Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times
• Perform any other duties as may be deemed necessary or as may be required by the company

Person Specification

• Good physical fitness is required
• Knowledge or interest in woodworking is a benefit
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently, while maintaining attention to detail
• Fluent in English, both verbally and written
• Well organised, self-motivated person with the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Manual Handling, Safe Pass and Forklift license are an advantage but not essential
