Laois Hire is a leading plant and tool hire company in Ireland. We provide a comprehensive range of services from tool and plant machinery to highly specialised equipment.
In this role you will be:

Advancing the sales of plant and vehicle hire services in the relevant geographical territory.
Identifying possible new leads for sales, establishing, and maintaining relationships with potential clients.
Conducting cold calling, regular customer visits and following up with marketing.

Generating new business opportunities and developing new accounts to maximise sales levels.
Maintaining and growing existing key accounts and ensuring customer retention is achieved and developed.
Maintaining a specific regional territory and marketing plan to enable uniform territory coverage.
Developing and maintaining relationships with internal teams.
Being an ambassador for the business

What will help you to excel in this role:

Field sales experience ideally within plant and tool hire, material handling, logistics, warehousing or construction (however not essential)
Demonstrable experience of organising and prioritising a demanding workload
Ability to engage with customers and have excellent communication skills
Willingness to learn new skills and develop with the business.
