CCTV Field Service Engineer

Role Overview:
Responsibilities include promptly responding to service calls and executing planned installations and maintenance tasks. This position entails delivering an exceptional customer service experience whilst conducting routine servicing, testing, inspections, repairs and installation of CCTV security, access control and intruder systems.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Perform installation, cabling, programming, servicing and repair of security systems and associated equipment.
  • Conduct customer training sessions and system demonstrations to effectively illustrate the functionality and operation of the systems, to include:-Programme Transmission, Video Analysis, Communications router and pathways, Commissioning units and walk testing.
  • Generate daily reporting and documentation to meet the operational requirements of our business and our customers
  • Collaborate with our internal operations teams to deliver superior customer service and technical support, ensuring utmost customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a CCTV role or similar discipline.
  • Full Drivers’ License and Safe Pass card holder.
  • Demonstrable experience of servicing, fault finding and repairing electronic systems preferably Security/Intruder Alarm Systems, CCTV systems (Analogue & IP) and Access Control Systems - desirable.
  • Experience in wireless networks and fibre optics an advantage.
  • Certification in Electrical Engineering beneficial but not essential.
