EIA Environmental Consultant
We are seeking an Environmental Consultant with 2+ year’s postgraduate experience working in environmental/engineering consultancy with experience in coordinating EIA and understanding client requirements.
Our client is a multi-disciplinary consultancy specialising in the areas of Environment, Sustainability, Waste Management, Planning, Engineering and GPS Land Surveying
This is a permanent role based in Cavan but with fully remote and / or hybrid options and a great salary and benefits package
The Person
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a positive team attitude, an ability to motivate others and a demonstrated willingness to learn and keep up to date with changing legislation and industry trends and developments.
Education: You will hold a relevant third level Degree (Level 8 or higher) - ecology, environmental science / environmental engineering or similar
Experience: You will have 2+ years Post qualification experience, preferably gained within a planning or environmental consultancy area
Environmental Impact Assessment Experience
(Experience in developing and completing Environmental Impact Assessments and other environmental projects, for example: Strategic Environmental Assessments, EIA Screenings, Stakeholder Engagement, environmental planning application documentation);
Project Management Experience
(Input into design stage of various projects from an environmental aspect and liaising with project teams and attendance at project meetings when required, reporting to the Technical Director on workflows and deliverables.
Prioritising projects while managing client expectations and project deadlines)
Quality
Deliver quality of the highest consistent standard in accordance with relevant legislation and best practice.
Competent in technical report writing and use of project management software, MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Teams, Share Point etc.)
Our Rewards:
Salary of €55,000 - €60,000p.a. DOE + a generous overall Benefits package, remote / hybrid work options
