Education and Heritage Interpretive Assistant
The Education and Heritage Interpretive assistant will represent the public face of the GMCE Clg, interpreting one of Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands important heritage sites. The candidate will play a vital role in community outreach, conserving and presenting our heritage and ensuring the safety and enjoyment of the visitors.
It is our aim to provide a unique and memorable experience for visitors from all over the world. It is a rewarding and enjoyable job for those who have a community ethos, enjoy sharing their expertise and enthusiasm with others. The candidate must be willing to engage with the local community, ie. outreach, promote and attend GMCE Clg events, re-enact history, etc.
The candidate will poses excellent interpersonal skills, provide top class customer care, have the ability to multi-task and play a vital role in presenting our heritage in an engaging way.
Applicant Requirements:
· Tourism / Heritage interpretation and education
· The Arts
· Public Relations and Event Promotion
Please note the successful candidate will be required to work at weekends and at events.
