Data Technician

Due to the growing demands of our clients, we have a requirement for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Cork team as a Data Technician. This is an excellent opportunity to work with Ireland’s largest IT network infrastructure solutions company and be part of some exciting projects including large multinational companies.

What you’ll be doing as our Data Technician:
- Installing data Cables (Cat 6, Cat 6A, Copper Cable, Fibre Optic cable, Multicore voice cable)
- Installation of various sized data comms cabinets & racks
- Terminating and testing data cables.
- Outside plant (OSP) installations.
- OLTS & OTDR Testing.
- Fibre Splicing.
- Fault finding and basic wiring problems.
- Installation of patch leads.
- Installation of switches and servers. Racking and Stacking.
- Applicants require a current safe pass and manual handling
- Experience installing Cat 6, Cat6a, and Fibre
- Experience with Termination and testing data cables
- Experience with Fault Finding, preferably with Fluke Test Equipment: DTX, OTDR
