We are seeking to recruit a Community Assistant Manager to join our team in Co. Laois.
This role, set within a dynamic environment, will provide opportunity for the successful and solutions orientated candidate to integrate and lead the charge on the continuous enhancement of delivering high quality and safe services to the people that we support.

Essential Skills
· Have experience working in social care/health care setting.
· Possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills, organisational skills, report writing skills and be proficient at managing records
· Be able to manage a staff team efficiently.
· Be able to give support and advice to front line staff.
· Be committed and self-motivated to strive for the highest standards in care, education and support for service users.
· Have excellent management skills and be able to motivate others to deliver high standards of care and support.

Key Tasks:
- In conjunction with Community Manager and other professionals carry out needs-led assessments and risk assessment at admission and when exploring rehabilitation and support options.
- Create, update and maintain all Personal Support plans for service users in conjunction with key workers, service users, their families and the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide strong leadership to the team and develop and support a strong culture of quality and safety in service delivery.
- Liaise with staff to ensure that all standards set out for ‘New Directions’ are delivered, implemented and monitored and that evidence of same is apparent.
- Ensure that staff complete key working sessions in order for service users to reach their set goals.
Hours of work: 39 hours per week
