We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaner to join our team in Ballybunion. The position requires flexibility, with part-time work from August to October and full-time hours during the busy seasonal months from March to October 2025. The successful candidate will have a strong background in deep cleaning, specifically in holiday homes and private residences. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and is committed to providing excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform thorough cleaning of holiday homes and private residences, ensuring all areas are spotless and well-maintained.
Prepare rooms for new guests or homeowners by cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking supplies as needed.
Dust, vacuum, mop, and polish all surfaces, including floors, furniture, and fixtures.
Clean and disinfect all kitchen and bathroom areas, including appliances, countertops, sinks, toilets, and showers.
Change bed linens and towels, ensuring all laundry is washed, dried, and neatly stored.
Keep track of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is necessary.
Follow all health and safety guidelines, using appropriate cleaning products and equipment to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
Accommodate any special cleaning requests from guests or homeowners, ensuring personalised service.
Report any maintenance issues or damages to the management promptly.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of professional cleaning experience, with a focus on deep cleaning in holiday homes and private residences.
Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standard.
Ability to manage time effectively and complete tasks within specified timeframes.
Dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Good communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions and respond to feedback.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required during peak seasons.
Physically fit, with the ability to perform tasks that involve bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
