We are currently recruiting for part time catering assistants for Carlow Educate Together National School and for Knockbeg College. Please see below for information relating to each school.

The part time position in Carlow Educate Together National School operates around the primary school calendar. Our employees are off at the break periods: midterms, Christmas, Easter and summer(unpaid). This may appeal to people with school going children.
Our employees are welcomed as part of the school community.
The position of catering assistant is approx 14-21 hours per week, operating on a 2 day / 3 day rotation.
Shift approx 7.00am-2.30pm
The role involves the preparation of snack packs for the small break, hot lunches, delivery of these to the classroom, and clean down.
Strong time management and organisational skills are a must as operating to strict break times.
Previous catering experience and knowledge of HACCP an advantage but not essential.

The part time position in Knockbeg College operates around the secondary school calendar. Our employees are off at the break periods: midterms, Christmas, Easter and summer(unpaid). This may appeal to people with school going children.
Our employees are welcomed as part of the school community.

The role involves the preparation of a variety of rolls, wraps, ciabattas, pasta & rice dishes. Service of small break and lunch and clean down.
Strong time management and organisational skills are a must as operating to strict break times.
Previous catering experience and knowledge of HACCP an advantage but not essential.
Weekly hours are approx 15-19 hours over 3 days. 9.15am - 3.30pm/4.30pm. Ability to start at 8am for cover purposes an advantage.
