Care Supervisor - Longford

The Opportunity: Care Supervisor
Currently, we have an opportunity for an enthusiastic Care Supervisor in a field based role to supervise care services in Longford.

The Role: Key Responsibilities
  • Support and guide care staff from induction training to effective deliver of care
  • Prepare, implement, review and update service plans
  • Monitor daily care service delivery ensuring care plan requirements are met
  • Develop care team capacity working with the recruitment department
  • Develop professional relationships with colleagues, clients and families
  • Maintain up-to-date records of care service delivery
  • Report accurately to your manager on all aspects of home care delivery
The Person: Essential Requirements
  • Experience in managing people
  • A full driving licence with access to a car is essential in this role
  • Qualified to QQI Level 5 in Care or equivalent
  • Experience of working in a care or related environment
  • Great communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience is an advantage
  • Possess basic IT Skills
  • Organisational and problem-solving skills
  • A respectful and inclusive approach
