Job Description:
We are currently seeking a versatile Maintenance Technician to join our team, specializing in building and vehicle maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a knack for troubleshooting and repairing various systems and equipment. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and safety of our facilities.
Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks on buildings, including inspecting, cleaning, and repairing structural components.
Conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficiency.
Inspect vehicles & perform basic repairs.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
Keep accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Assist in the installation of new equipment and fixtures.
Collaborate with other team members to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient operations.
Perform handyman tasks such as painting, patching walls, and assembling furniture as needed.
Repair and maintain ovens and other kitchen equipment, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
Keep detailed logs of oven repairs and maintenance activities, including dates, parts used, and any follow-up actions required.

Requirements:

Proven experience in building.
Knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or vocational training is a plus.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Examples of Building Maintenance Tasks:

Repairing minor structural damage in buildings.
Inspecting and repairing roofing issues such as leaks
Repairing or replacing damaged doors, windows, or locks.
Troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues such as faulty wiring or outlets.
Repairing plumbing fixtures such as faucets, toilets, or pipes.
Performing routine inspections and maintenance on fire safety equipment.
Maintaining and repairing interior and exterior lighting fixtures.
Conducting regular inspections of building systems for signs of wear or malfunction.
