Main Purpose of the Job:
To ensure that customers are served efficiently and that orders are served accurately and with courtesy to the standards required by the Company.
Reporting to:
As a Bartender with Só Hotels you will report to Bar Manager (or such person as designated by management).
The Person:
We are currently looking to recruit energetic and experienced Bartender/Mixologist to join the team.

• Previous experience working as a Bartender/Mixologist is essential
• Experience working in a fast paced environment

• Knowledge in cocktails and Bartending is essential
• Must be available midweek and weekends

The Hotel:
The Modern 4-star Killeshin Hotel prides itself on its 88 luxurious bedrooms, contemporary fine dining restaurant, carvery & bar, relaxing lounge, conference facilities, leisure club, wedding & event facilities.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure that you receive a handover briefing at the beginning of your shift to ensure that you are aware of any events or special requirements for the day.
• Ensure that the highest levels of hygiene are maintained and that the food and beverage service areas are kept clean and tidy and are fully prepared for service at all times
• Greet customers in a welcoming manner and seat them where appropriate.
• Maintain a presence in the room regardless of how few customers there are during service and to be carrying a tray at all times.
• Take orders promptly and clearly and ensure correct till operations are adhered to and that all staff use their own pre-allocated micros card.
• Check frequently that guests are content with meal/beverage/service and ensure that all guests receive polite and courteous attention.
• Ensure tables are always free of unnecessary crockery, cutlery, sauces etc.
• Assist in the documentation of all quality standards and the adherence to these standards at all times.
• Maintain a close working relationship with the Kitchen Team.
• Strive to have a complete knowledge of all elements of the food and beverage product in order to communicate comprehensively this product to the customer.
• You are responsible for efficient service with minimum fuss or delay.
• Daily cleaning duties such as sweeping, hovering and moping of floors/cleaning of equipment such as coffee machines/ using glass washers and to carry out extra duties such as deep cleaning as required.
• Ensure compliance, at all times, of all relevant legislation relating to weights and measures, licensing and under-age drinking.
• Adhere to all purchasing and stock control systems and procedures in place.
• Ensure that a complete handover is done with the on-coming shift and that any checklists, reports and tasks have been completed
• Assist in developing, maintain and implement appropriate recorded training for F&B team.
