Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Barista/All-Rounder to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a bustling setting, has a passion for coffee and customer service, and enjoys being part of a close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality specialty coffees, teas, and beverages.
Craft delicious acai bowls with attention to detail and presentation.
Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment efficiently and safely.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including counters, equipment, and seating areas.
Handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
Provide excellent customer service, greet customers warmly, and address their needs and preferences.
Assist with stocking and replenishing supplies, ensuring inventory levels are maintained.
Support team members with various tasks as needed to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not neccessary.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Positive attitude and a passion for coffee and customer service.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays.
Basic math skills for handling cash and operating the POS system.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
