Our gyms are growing fast, and we must add another A game player to our team to continue our mission.

One Arena was established in 2016. We opened our first gym on Pouladuff Road in 2019, followed by our second club in Passage West in April 2023. Our third club is coming soon. We are Cork's leading health and fitness club, offering group personal coaching.
Job description
Our ideal candidate is passionate about customer experience, being able to handle a variety of tasks and being very organised. If you have coaching experience and would benefit from a varied role you could be considered to cover circa 10 hours a week of coaching alongside your operational role
Duties:

• Delivering industry-leading coaching to small and large groups.
• Lead, improve and mentor new trainers.
• Assist in driving revenue with regular sales tasks and administration duties.
• Session design and plan for the month ahead
• Conduct client consultations & health screens that are reliable and valid using the standardised One Arena methods.
• Schedule / reschedule clients where required.
• Assist with maintenance of One Arena systems where required
• Upsell One Arena services to current members
• Provide a high level of customer service, motivation and positive feedback
• Have an open mind and clearly communicate.
• Display good communication, interpersonal, and listening skills to meet clients' differing needs.
• Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
• Develop good rapport and assist client retention.
• Contribute and add value to the culture and environment of One Arena.
• Take instruction from senior staff and work cohesively, efficiently and effectively in a team environment with enthusiasm and genuine interest in customer service.
• Attend meetings, mentoring, training sessions, training courses, in-house gym events and external competitions.
• Prioritise requests, manage own time and communicate with staff and team members.
• Work with minimal supervision

• Cleaning duties and general gym upkeep where required and reporting all incidents

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €33,280.00-€40,256.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:

• Cork Eircode, CO. Cork: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Personal training: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Certified Personal Trainer (required)
