YOUR ‘DAY TO DAY’
Financial Controlling & Business Partnering
- Ensure proper accounting treatment of financials, carrying out regular or ad hoc financial analysis of Vectura Fertin Pharma Laboratories (VFPL) and management reporting results, Income Statement and Balance Sheet variance analysis vs budget/forecast, preparation of financial packages and respond to any query
- Lead the proper preparation of Income Statement and Balance sheet Forecast, net working capital forecast and variance analysis & Overheads
- Lead in providing assumptions from Local Affiliate perspective, advise Finance Shared Service (FSC) on assumptions to be used etc based on local knowledge
- Analyze evolution of VFPL’s study pipeline, and preparing budget for research & development by working with Project Management
- Prepare consolidated reports on actual expenses vs. Budget to support management
- Ensure timely, accurate and complete preparation, analysis, and consolidation of monthly, quarterly & yearly financial results
- Ensure consistency in variances interpretation and provide guidance and accounting support to the affiliate according to US GAAP standards
- Identify areas for enhancements, eliminate inefficiencies and promote continuous improvement
- Local point of contact for bank related matters
- Review and renew bank guarantees
- Prepare insurance reporting to meet PMI reporting requirements
- Prepare final and estimated dividend plan annually
- Coordinating manual payment in the form of manual cheques with local signatories if necessary
- Local contact point for local bank signatories
Financial Reporting - GL
- Coordinate Financial Reporting work processes with FSC to ensure timely and accurate month-end closing which are in line with PM's reporting deadlines and local / US GAAP requirements.
- Ensure that all monthly, quarterly, Year-End, ad hoc reporting and closings are performed and submitted on a timely and accurate basis in conjunction with Finance Service Center and are in compliance with local & US GAAP and the processes are managed effectively.
- Advise users and FSC on recording of financial transactions (e.g. Year End accruals, recurring accruals, estimated amounts using judgment, blanket PO etc.)
- Administer Finance related Purchase Orders
- Ensuring timely recording of all financial transactions according to PMI reporting guidelines and procedures
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or Finance, with minimum 5 years of relevant FP&A experience ideally in a mid-large sized MNC and/or prior Big 4 experience.
- Mandatory to be proficient in using Microsoft Excel (at advance level), Power Point, Hyperion and BI tools.
- Excellent communication skill in both written and spoken English, meticulous and works well in a team-based environment (both remote and onsite).
- Excellent interpersonal skill and ability to work in a team
- Willing to be located either in Jakarta
