Job Description

• Request for freight quotation from forwarder and quote accordingly to the customer or to CSIS.
• Ensure that all shipping documents are complete and in order.
• Book shipments with the freight forwarder.
• Apply export permit.
• Coordinate with Singapore warehouse staff for the collection of shipments.
• Coordinate with hauler for containerized shipments.
• Check bill of lading and airway bill and ensure all details are correct.
• Check draft forms and ensure all details are correct prior to application to avoid delays.
• Send pre-alert to customers.
• Monitor shipment status and update customer.
• Apply for insurance of shipments that require separate insurance policy.
• Comply with ISO 9001,14001,13485 standard requirements.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor/Diploma degree in any field. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Knowledgeable in Shipping, Logistics, and Supply Chain.
• Knowledge of customs documentation, shipping, and logistics.
• Meticulous, attention to details, organized, good communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Strong negotiation skills, able to work under pressure and with tight deadlines.
• Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
