- Analyze sales figures, customer reactions, market trends, and changes to existing products.
- Recommend new products by identifying market opportunities and filling product gaps.
- Develop product pricing and positioning strategies.
- Transform product strategy into clear product briefs with detailed requirements that solve meaningful customer problems.
- Translate product briefs into product designs, specs, and prototypes, with a strong sense of unique selling points and visually attractive aesthetics.
- Build a best-in-class design and development process to accelerate and expand our product offering while strengthening our brand identity.
- Collaborate with Product Development Team on the execution of all product development and costing activities from ideation to a final manufacturing-ready package.
- Manage successful execution of all go-to-market activities.
- Drive workstreams in Content, Sales, Support, Inventory, Website, and Promotion as the product expert and the customer advocate.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Creative teams to define the key product message that will be the primary selling point on the website, search, social media, and advertising.
- 5+ years experience in the indoor furniture industry.
- 5+ years experience in product management, product development, retail merchandising, or a related.
- 2+ years of experience scaling new product categories in a B2B consumer products brand.
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product through its lifecycle, with an understanding of supply chain and sourcing processes.
- A collaborative leader, leading by example and encouraging team members to innovate, improve and solve customer needs.
- Impeccable taste and eye for visual design and practical product design.
- Knowledge of current market, design, and product trends.
- Experience with furniture and related categories.
- Adaptable, with a hungry-to-grow mindset.
- Resourceful, proactive, and a true team player.
- Fluent in English is a plus.
