Lead the coordination of all QC-related activities for the assigned project.
Address client concerns and queries promptly, either via email or in person on daily basis.
Attend Project Quality Meetings (and generate MOM), Project Initiation Meetings (PIM), and other relevant meetings.
Ensure the completion of the project meets required quality standards, including the timely issuance of fabrication records (MDR).
Supervise and manage all discipline QC Coordinators and Inspectors, ensuring proper resource allocation in production areas and timely response to Inspection Notifications (NOIs or RFIs).
Assume the duties of discipline QC Coordinators/Inspectors during absences or resource shortages.
Report deviations from procedures or drawings on the shop floor to the QC Manager and raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) if necessary.
Liaise with client representatives and third parties for daily inspection activities as per Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) requirements.
Qualifications:
Tertiary Education with Technical Degree/Diploma would be preferred.
Extensive experience in a similar fabrication setup and similar coordination role.
Multidisciplinary expertise is advantageous, with certifications in welding, coating, etc. (e.g., CSWIP 3.1, SSPC PCI /NACE CIP, FROSIO etc).
Familiarity with office application (excel, word, PP, outlook etc) is essential.
Excellent presentation skills and organizational abilities, essential for effective coordination.
