Ad-hoc Logistic Engineer / Supply Chain Analyst (FlexSim)

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in building and validating simulation models using Flex Sim to analyze processes in industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, or supply chain.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project teams to understand existing operations and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Perform data collection and analysis to support the simulation models, ensuring accuracy and reliability of the inputs and outputs.
- Participate in the execution of scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and optimization studies to assess different operational strategies.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate the findings and recommendations based on simulation results.
- Learn and apply best practices in simulation modeling and continuous process improvement.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field.
- Basic proficiency in Flex Sim or other simulation software (e.g., Any Logic, Arena, Simul8).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in data analysis and modeling.
- Familiarity with discrete event simulation (DES) concepts through coursework, projects, or internships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of Excel and data visualization tools is a plus.
- Experience with basic process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is an advantage.
- Basic programming skills (e.g., Python, R) for data manipulation and analysis is a plus.
