Welder/Fitter
1. Responsible for all sorts of welding operations of plant.
2. To get hot work area permit from Safety Coordinator.
3. Use of personal protective equipment's for safety purposes.
4. Reporting to maintenance manager in case of breakdown.
5. Responsible for GMP/GHK in maintenance work shop area.
6. Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures
7. Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
8. Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements)
9. Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded
10. Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces
11. Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead)
12. Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps
13. Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
14. Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
