Amazon Pay India's mission is to be India's most convenient rewarding and trusted way to pay. Customers can use Amazon Pay to pay for their payment needs like bill payments, money transfers, travel ticketing, insurance, merchant payments etc., (what we call everyday use-cases). Amazon Pay also has proprietary payment methods which give customers the best experience in terms of success rates, conversion and credit availability.

We are looking for a seasoned UX Designer who excels at crafting thoughtful consumer-facing experiences with Amazon Pay, one of India’s leading payment platforms. As per of this team, you will be working on Amazon Pay’s multiple payment use-cases such as Rewards, Automatic Payments, Post Transaction Experience, Bill Payments etc. to deliver the best end to end experiences to customers. To be successful in this role, you must be great at creative problem solving, be adept at storytelling through visuals, have expertise in system's design thinking, and enjoy designing elegant payment experiences with attention to detail. You will be working closely with a cross-functional group of Product Managers, Engineers and organizational leaders to ideate and deliver on the best possible experience for our customers and partners.

Key job responsibilities

Design a superior payment experience.
Ideate, build and maintain scalable design patterns that can be applied across a variety of payment use-cases
Drive consensus on design decisions through application of usability heuristics and data
Champion and partner on key research studies that will help us better understand user behaviours, needs and motivations while translating insights into actionable design solutions
Create scalable wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate concepts through different phases of a product's lifecycle
Identify, design and document reusable patterns that help us scale our design philosophy across integrations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams like product managers, developers, and designers.
2+ years of mass-market consumer web / mobile products experience
Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
