1. Operational Efficiency:
- Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of transportation activities within the road construction projects.
- Oversee and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including insurance, permits, and tax requirements for vehicles and machinery.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of vehicle and machinery documentation, including insurance, permits, and registration details.
- Supervise the timely renewal of insurance, permits, and other legal requirements for the fleet.
- Facilitate the seamless integration of new vehicles and machinery into the fleet, including registration and documentation processes.6. Cost Optimization:
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization in transportation and related areas, ensuring budget adherence.
- Coordinate and lead the transport team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with other departments.
- Develop and implement contingency plans for transportation-related emergencies or disruptions.
- Identify areas for process improvement within the transport department, implementing solutions for enhanced efficiency.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to transportation, making data-driven decisions for improvement.
· Any Graduate with 5-10 years of relevant experience. Prior experience in infrastructure project would be an added advantage;
