Description
Operating and maintaining various machines and equipment in the tool room, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine specifications and tolerances for the production of tools and parts
Fabricating, assembling, and repairing tooling components using a variety of materials, including metals.
Performing routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure proper functioning and minimize downtime
Collaborating with other departments, such as Product Development, to develop and refine tooling designs and processes
Monitoring inventory levels of raw materials and supplies and requisitioning items as needed
Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and procedures
Troubleshooting issues with tooling components and equipment and making necessary repairs or adjustments
Maintaining accurate records of work performed and materials used
