Job Description:

• Understand the Hardware Requirements Specification (HRS) document /design implementation and define the test scenarios
• Capable to design the test hardware as per test requirements
• Review product schematic diagrams/requirements documents and design Test Panels, Cable assemblies, mechanical fixtures and design documents.
• Requires technical ownership on assigned projects.
• Should be able to resolve the problem on his own, with very limited support from Lead.
• Understanding of core processes and compliance.
• Interacts with project team members and peers to anticipate and resolve day to day issues.
• Significant contribution to Value stream mapping (VSM) deployment, Business/Personal Improvements and productivity.

Skills Needed:

• Experienced in ATEs (Automated Test Equipment), Interface Test Adapter/Cable harness design build and integration experience.; includes mechanical and electrical.
• Experienced in functional testing of an electronic product.
• Ability to understand schematics, assembly drawings and PBA layouts ang signal flow interpretations.
• Good knowledge of Instruments and their usage (Measuring & Sourcing instruments)
• Good understanding of Electronic Components, connectors, switching methods and ITA design.
• Proven practical experience in the analysis/troubleshooting of the Test Equipment & Test software.
• Should be able to resolve the problem on his own, with very limited support.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Software Skills: C, Lab VIEW or Lab Windows/CVI programming.
