Job Title: Steward Location: Toshali Sands Resort,Puri Reports to: F&B Service Manager Key Responsibilities:
Dishwashing: Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, and kitchen equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
Cleanliness: Keep kitchen, prep, and storage areas clean and organized, ensuring compliance with food safety and health regulations.
Waste Management: Sort and dispose of waste, including food waste, recyclables, and garbage, according to local guidelines.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper cleaning and sanitization of kitchen equipment, including ovens, grills, mixers, and refrigeration units.
Stocking and Supplies: Ensure that cleaning supplies (detergents, sanitizers, etc.) are stocked and accessible, and notify management when inventory is low.
Skills and Qualifications:
Attention to Detail: Must be thorough in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the restaurant.
Time Management: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
Team Player: Willingness to collaborate and assist in various tasks to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly.
Knowledge of Sanitation Standards: Familiar with health and safety regulations in food service environments.
