1) Delivers direct patient care as per nursing protocols; assesses patients physical, psychosocial and/or emotional needs; develop & implement nursing care plans. 2) Responsible for the treatment of patients, administration of medication and injections from all possible routes, assistance during diagnostic testing, and follow-up. 3) Monitor, record and report symptoms, vital signs and changes in patients' conditions. Informs seniors about patient status, respond to, and call for immediate attention in case of emergency. 4) Prepare patients for, and assist with, examinations and treatments, ensure pre operative & post operative orders are carried out correctly. 5) To maintain the safe, infection free & efficient care rendered in the various nursing departments of the hospital. 6) Educating the patients & relatives about how to take care of the patient, once they are discharged from the hospital. 7) Maintains stocks inventories, sterilizes and safe upkeep of instruments. 8) Proper linen management, and maintains hygiene of ward and patient’s rooms. 9) Ensure proper handing over / taking over on regular basis. 10) Follow proper bio medical waste guidelines and supervise housekeeping staff to follow the same. 11) To get general & informed consent as & when required.
