About the Role
At Validus Fintech, we’re focused on transforming RTA operations in the passive fund management space. As part of our growth, we’re looking for an experienced operations professional to lead our ETF and index fund operations. In this role, you will manage end-to-end operations, work closely with technology teams on platform development, and drive process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:

• Operations Management:

Oversee the end-to-end operations for ETFs, index funds, and passive funds, including transaction processing, unit creation/redemption, NAV updates, and post-trade settlements. Ensure smooth collaboration with custodians and stock exchanges for reconciliation.

• Platform Development & Integration:

Work closely with IT teams to design a platform that supports operational needs. Provide input on workflows, transactions, and compliance. Ensure seamless integration of the platform into daily operations.

• Compliance & Process Improvement:

Ensure all operations comply with SEBI and AMFI regulations. Lead efforts to automate processes, reduce manual tasks, and improve efficiency.

• Stakeholder Coordination & Reporting:

Collaborate with custodians, stock exchanges, and internal teams to maintain accurate data and smooth operations. Develop reports on transaction efficiency, compliance, and platform performance.
Requirements:

• Experience in ETF, index fund, or passive fund operations, with a focus on transaction processing and reconciliations.
• Proven ability to improve processes and collaborate with IT teams on platform development.
• Strong knowledge of SEBI and AMFI regulations.
• Leadership and communication skills to manage stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in mutual fund operations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
• CFA, FRM, or NISM certifications are a plus.
