Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of mechanical staff during the shift, ensuring effective teamwork and communication.
- Operational Monitoring: Oversee the production process, ensuring that machinery operates efficiently and safely, addressing any operational issues promptly.
- Maintenance Coordination: Manage routine maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control processes to maintain product standards and improve production efficiency.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and practices to promote a safe working environment for all team members.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production metrics, maintenance activities, and incidents, and report findings to management.
- Training and Development: Provide training and support to team members on equipment operation and safety procedures.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of experience in a mechanical supervisory role within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of mechanical systems, processes, and maintenance practices.
- Leadership Abilities: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and management.
