Job Responsibilities for a Housekeeping Associate:
  • Room Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning bathrooms to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for guests.
  • Linen and Towel Management: Replace used linens, towels, and toiletries with clean ones, ensuring adequate supplies are available in each guest room. Handle soiled linens and towels following proper procedures for laundry and disposal.
  • Surface Sanitization: Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, remote controls, and countertops to maintain cleanliness and prevent the spread of germs and bacteria.
  • Trash Removal: Empty trash bins and replace liners in guest rooms and common areas, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the property.
  • Room Inspections: Conduct inspections of guest rooms to ensure they meet quality standards for cleanliness, organization, and presentation. Address any deficiencies promptly and thoroughly.
  • Lost and Found Management: Keep track of items found in guest rooms and public areas, properly logging and storing them for retrieval by guests. Follow established procedures for returning lost items to their rightful owners.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and restock housekeeping carts with cleaning supplies, amenities, and linens as needed to ensure efficient and uninterrupted service.
  • Assist with Special Requests: Accommodate guest requests for additional amenities, such as extra towels or pillows, and promptly deliver them to guest rooms with a courteous and attentive demeanor.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and compliance with OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other housekeeping staff members, as well as front desk and maintenance personnel, to coordinate cleaning schedules, address guest requests, and ensure seamless operations.
  • Customer Service: Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, responding to inquiries, providing directions, and offering assistance as needed to enhance their overall experience.
  • Continuous Improvement: Seek opportunities for self-improvement and professional development through training sessions, workshops, and feedback to enhance skills and performance in housekeeping duties.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
