Sales Executive

Job Summary:
The Business Development Executive for the Cosmetics Division will be responsible for driving sales, expanding market reach, and identifying new business opportunities for cosmetic products. This role involves building relationships with clients, distributors, and retailers, understanding market trends, and working closely with the marketing and product development teams to ensure that the company’s cosmetics portfolio meets customer demands and competitive benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Research & Analysis:
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, consumer trends, and competitive landscape in the cosmetics industry.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to provide insights for product development and marketing strategies.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and product launches to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Sales & Revenue Growth:
  • Develop and execute business strategies to drive sales growth and profitability in the cosmetics division.
  • Identify and approach potential clients, distributors, and retailers for partnership opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, distributors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Provide excellent customer service and after-sales support to ensure long-term business partnerships.
  • Develop strategies to retain and grow the customer base through relationship-building and providing product solutions.
  • Product Promotion & Development Support:
  • Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to align business development strategies with product launches and promotions.
  • Assist in the development of promotional campaigns and strategies to drive brand awareness and increase sales.
  • Provide feedback on product performance and customer needs to help refine product offerings.
  • New Business Acquisition:
  • Identify and develop new market segments and regions for expansion.
  • Participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to generate leads and new business contacts.
  • Leverage social media and digital platforms to reach new audiences and promote product offerings.
  • Contract Negotiation & Deal Closing:
  • Negotiate contracts, terms of sales, and partnership agreements with clients and partners.
  • Ensure all deals comply with company policies, legal regulations, and customer expectations.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all business activities and transactions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. A specialization in Cosmetics Retail is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, ideally within the cosmetics or beauty industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of the cosmetics market, including industry trends, competitors, and consumer behaviour.

  • Sales & Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to sell products negotiates contracts, and close deals.
  • Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the cosmetics industry, market segments, and consumer trends.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data, market research, and performance metrics.
  • Customer Focus: Ability to understand customer needs and provide solutions that align with business goals.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and other teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify challenges and develop strategies to overcome them.
