Safety Officer Immediate Requirement
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Officer to join our team. The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all safety protocols and regulations are adhered to, helping create and maintain a safe and healthy workplace. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce them in a proactive manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all safety protocols and regulations are adhered to, helping create and maintain a safe and healthy workplace. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce them in a proactive manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Safety Policies: Design and implement health and safety policies that align with legal requirements and organizational needs.
- Conduct Safety Audits and Inspections: Perform regular inspections of the workplace to identify hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments to anticipate potential issues and develop solutions to mitigate risks.
- Accident Investigation: Investigate accidents, near-miss incidents, and dangerous occurrences, and provide recommendations for preventing future incidents.
- Safety Training: Provide safety training and awareness programs for employees, ensuring everyone understands their responsibilities.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure that the company complies with all relevant health and safety laws, regulations, and standards.
- Emergency Response Planning: Develop and maintain emergency response protocols, including fire drills, evacuation plans, and emergency equipment checks.
- Safety Reporting: Prepare and submit safety reports to management, identifying areas for improvement and tracking the progress of corrective actions.
- Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with management and employees to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
- PPE Management: Ensure the proper usage of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all staff, and monitor the availability and condition of PPE.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Safety Officer or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of local and international health and safety regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and make decisions in emergencies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management software.
