Retail Trainer
Roles and Responsibilities of a Retail Trainer:
- Training Program Development:
- Design and develop training programs that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Create structured training materials such as manuals, guides, presentations, and role-play scenarios.
- Identify training needs by evaluating strengths and areas of improvement for individuals and teams.
- Conducting Training Sessions:
- Deliver engaging in-person and virtual training sessions to new and existing employees.
- Use a variety of instructional techniques such as workshops, hands-on demonstrations, and classroom teaching.
- Adapt training styles and content based on the audience's experience level and learning needs.
- Product Knowledge & Skills Enhancement:
- Ensure that all employees have a thorough understanding of the product lineup, features, and benefits.
- Train on sales techniques, customer service strategies, and retail best practices.
- Implement training modules on specialized areas such as visual merchandising, loss prevention, and POS systems.
- Coaching & Mentoring:
- Offer one-on-one coaching and mentoring for staff to improve performance and confidence.
- Observe employee interactions and provide constructive feedback to enhance skills.
- Develop follow-up sessions and action plans to ensure continuous improvement.
- Performance Evaluation:
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs through evaluations, surveys, and observation.
- Measure employee performance and customer satisfaction pre- and post-training.
- Analyze training data to identify trends, strengths, and areas of opportunity.
- Compliance & Standards:
- Ensure that all employees are trained on company policies, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Update training content to reflect changes in company procedures or new regulatory guidelines.
- Cross-Department Collaboration:
- Work closely with HR, sales, and operations teams to understand training requirements and business priorities.
- Collaborate with store managers to customize training programs to address specific store challenges.
- Employee Onboarding:
- Oversee the onboarding and orientation process for new hires to ensure they integrate smoothly into the organization.
- Implement a structured onboarding plan that covers company culture, product knowledge, and service expectations.
- Technology & Learning Tools:
- Use e-learning platforms, training management software, and other digital tools to deliver and track training.
- Stay updated with the latest training trends, tools, and technologies to enhance the learning experience.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain records of training activities, schedules, and employee progress.
- Provide management with regular updates on training outcomes and employee development.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
