Job Description: Retail Salesperson (Tobacco/Pan Masala/Cigarettes) Location: Surat & South Gujarat
Experience: 2-3 years (Tobacco, Pan Masala, Cigarettes, or FMCG)
Mode of Travel: Own Bike Required
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct sales visits to wholesale and retail outlets, including pan shops, with a focus on building strong relationships.
Effectively promote and sell ready stock items to retailers and wholesalers within assigned territories.
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the tobacco, pan masala, and cigarette product categories.
Ensure timely stock replenishment and follow-up on orders to maximize sales growth.
Monitor competitor activities and market trends to suggest new strategies.
Achieve sales targets through effective customer management and route planning.
Maintain accurate records of sales, customer feedback, and inventory.
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations related to product sales.
Requirements:
2-3 years of experience in sales within the tobacco, pan masala, cigarette industry or FMCG sector.
Strong communication and negotiation skills with a proven ability to close sales.
Ability to manage relationships with retail outlets, especially pan shops, independently.
Must own a bike and be comfortable traveling within designated areas.
High level of self-motivation and ability to work autonomously.
Proficiency in local language(s) and knowledge of the local market is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with tobacco, pan masala, or cigarette products is highly preferred.
Experience in FMCG sales will be considered.
