R&D ASSISTANT Location: Mumbai (Western Line Preferred) Qualifications: Minimum M.Sc. in Science or Chemistry (or a related discipline). Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience handling TDS (Technical Data Sheets) and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets). Preferred experience in the chemical, manufacturing, or related industries. Key Responsibilities: Technical Data Sheets (TDS): Prepare, update, and maintain accurate TDS for all products. Collaborate with the R&D and Quality Control teams to gather product information and ensure TDS are up to date. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and customer requirements. Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS): Create and manage MSDS for all relevant chemicals and products. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines (e.g., OSHA, GHS, REACH). Coordinate with the legal and safety teams to ensure MSDS are aligned with the latest safety standards. Documentation & Reporting: Assist in documenting all R&D-related activities and ensure that data is recorded accurately. Compile detailed reports for ongoing projects, including research findings, analysis, and conclusions. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines. Ensure all product formulations comply with both national and international standards. Support R&D Projects: Assist in conducting experiments and research activities in the lab under the supervision of senior R&D personnel. Participate in product testing, trials, and analysis. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality control, and safety departments to support new product development and improvements. Provide technical support to the sales and marketing teams by offering detailed product knowledge. Continuous Improvement: Proactively suggest improvements to processes, documentation, and product performance. Engage in knowledge-sharing sessions and training to stay current with R&D best practices. Skills and Competencies: Strong understanding of chemistry and material safety regulations. Proficient in handling TDS and MSDS documentation. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders. Preferred Candidate Location: Residing on the Western Line of Mumbai for ease of commute.
