Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Production Executive with a background in_ Mechanical or Metallurgy Engineering _and must have working experience in Steel foundary.
The role of a Production Executive in a railway products manufacturing unit encompasses a wide range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring efficient manufacturing processes, quality control, and adherence to safety standards. Here are the typical roles and responsibilities:
  • Production Planning and Control:
  • Develop production schedules and plans to meet customer demand and optimize resources.
  • Coordinate with procurement, maintenance, and quality assurance departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Process Optimization:
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to minimize waste and improve efficiency.
  • Continuously improve production processes through methods such as Six Sigma or Kaizen.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Monitor product standards and implement quality-control programs.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO or other relevant quality standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
  • Resource Management:
  • Manage human resources, including production staff, ensuring adequate training and supervision.
  • Optimize the use of equipment, materials, and personnel to meet production targets cost-effectively.
  • Health and Safety:
  • Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to workplace safety.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Oversee inventory levels to maintain adequate stock for production.
  • Implement inventory control measures to minimize excess or shortage of materials.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and motivate a team of production workers, supervisors, and technicians.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Customer Relations:
  • Coordinate with sales and customer service departments to meet customer expectations and resolve issues promptly.
  • Provide timely updates on production status and delivery schedules.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare production reports and analyze key metrics such as productivity, downtime, and cost variance.
  • Use data to identify trends and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Environmental Sustainability:
  • Implement measures to reduce the environmental impact of production processes.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote sustainable practices.
Overall, a Production Executive plays a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of production to ensure efficient operations, high product quality, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards in a railway products manufacturing unit.
Qualification : Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical or Metallurgy Engineering
Experience: Atleast 5-7 Years of experience in steel foundary in Production Department

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
