Job Purpose - To nurture and guide young learners in a positive, engaging environment, fostering holistic development through play-based learning and ensuring they are ready for their educational journey. Key Responsibilities - Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities based on early childhood education principles. - Foster a welcoming, safe, and stimulating classroom environment. - Monitor and track children's developmental milestones, providing feedback to parents regularly. - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure consistency in teaching and learning approaches. - Organize and participate in events that promote learning and community engagement. - Maintain open and proactive communication with parents, emphasizing the school’s philosophy of parents as partners. - Manage classroom behavior through positive discipline techniques and model appropriate behavior. Qualifications - A degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. - Certification in Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or other child-centric teaching approaches preferred. - Experience working with young children, preferably in a preschool setting. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Patience, creativity, and a passion for early childhood education. Skills - Understanding of child development stages. - Ability to create engaging lesson plans. - Strong classroom management abilities. - Empathy and understanding of children’s emotional needs. - Parent management - Good presentation Preferred Experience - 2+ years of experience in teaching at the preschool level. - Experience with parent-toddler program would be an added advantage.
