Overview: We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Female Preschool Coordinator with a minimum of 5 years of experience in early childhood education. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and administrative skills, with a passion for fostering a nurturing learning environment. This position is pivotal in coordinating the daily operations of the preschool, working closely with teachers, staff, parents, and students to ensure the delivery of high-quality education and care. Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Leadership:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the preschool, including staff scheduling, student enrollment, and classroom assignments.
Ensure the preschool is in compliance with state and local regulations, licensing requirements, and safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of students, staff, and school activities, including attendance, incidents, and other administrative duties.
Curriculum Coordination:
Collaborate with teachers to design, implement, and update a developmentally appropriate and stimulating curriculum.
Support teachers in organizing activities and lesson plans that align with the preschool’s educational philosophy and standards.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of classroom instruction and provide feedback to improve teaching methods and student outcomes.
Staff Support & Development:
Lead and support the preschool teaching staff, conducting regular staff meetings and ensuring effective communication.
Provide ongoing professional development opportunities for teachers to improve their skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating staff, ensuring the highest quality of instruction and care.
Parent & Community Engagement:
Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing updates on school policies and programs.
Facilitate parent-teacher meetings and conferences to discuss student progress and development.
Organize school events, activities, and workshops to build a strong school community and enhance parental involvement.
Child Development & Behavioral Support:
Observe children in classrooms to ensure they are receiving appropriate care and learning opportunities.
Provide guidance and support to teachers in managing student behavior, offering strategies for handling challenging behaviors.
Collaborate with staff to implement individualized learning plans or behavioral interventions when needed.
Safety & Facility Management:
Ensure the preschool environment is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.
Implement safety procedures, conduct emergency drills, and address any safety concerns promptly.
Oversee the proper use and maintenance of school facilities and equipment.
Program Development & Evaluation:
Continuously assess and enhance the preschool program to meet the evolving needs of children and families.
Implement feedback from parents, staff, and external assessments to make improvements in preschool operations and curriculum.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 2 years in a leadership or coordinating role.
Strong understanding of child development, curriculum planning, and early education best practices.
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other administrative software.
