We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our esteemed faculty in the Department of Anaesthesia & Operation Theatre Technology.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Professor / Lecturer to teach and mentor students in the B.Sc. program in Anaesthesia & Operation Theatre Technology. The successful candidate will contribute to the academic excellence of the program by delivering lectures, facilitating practical sessions, and engaging in research activities.
The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in anaesthesia and operation theatre technology and be committed to fostering a dynamic learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lectures, seminars, and practical sessions for undergraduate students in the B.Sc. Anaesthesia & Operation Theatre Technology program.
- Develop and update course materials, including syllabi, lectures, and assessments.
- Engage in research activities and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field.
- Supervise and guide students in their academic projects, research work, and internships.
- Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and other university-related activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and curriculum development.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in anaesthesia and operation theatre technology and integrate relevant advancements into teaching and research.
Qualifications:
Educational Requirements:
Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Anaesthesia Technology, Operation Theatre Technology, or a closely related field. A Ph.D. or equivalent research experience is desirable but not mandatory.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of anaesthesia and operation theatre technology.
- Excellent teaching and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools.
