Key Responsibilities:
- Teach nursing students in theoretical subjects and practical clinical skills.
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans and course material in line with the nursing curriculum.
- Guide students during clinical rotations, ensuring they gain hands-on experience.
- Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and practical exams.
- Mentor and provide academic support to nursing students, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Stay updated with advancements in nursing education and incorporate new methods into teaching practices.
- Collaborate with fellow faculty members on curriculum development and student programs.
- Participate in seminars, workshops, and other academic events to enhance students' learning experience.
- Maintain records of student attendance, progress, and other academic documentation as per college policies.
- B.Sc Nursing or M.Sc Nursing in any specialty from a recognized institution.
- Previous experience as a nursing tutor or lecturer is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage students and encourage a positive academic atmosphere.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
