Experience:
- Building relationships Reporters build relationships with sources, such as public officials, researchers, and administrators, to get tips and leads on stories.
- Interviewing Reporters interview people who have information, opinions, or analysis about a story. They may also arrange and conduct interviews for radio and television programs.
- Writing Reporters write stories or articles for newspapers, magazines, or websites. They may also create scripts for television or radio.
- Verifying Reporters verify factual information from multiple sources. They also review stories for accuracy, grammar, and style.
- Delivering Reporters deliver accurate information to the public. They are responsible for the information they share, and must adhere to legal parameters and ethical practices.
