Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual Tester to join our dynamic QA team. The ideal
candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, exceptional
analytical skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality products. Experience in automation
testing and knowledge of the insurance domain will be a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyze system specifications to create detailed, comprehensive, and

well-structured test plans and test cases.

Execute test cases (manual or automated) and evaluate the results.
Identify, record, and track bugs using a bug tracking tool.
Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to reproduce and resolve issues.
Conduct regression testing for existing functionality after changes and enhancements.
Participate in test plan reviews, and provide feedback to improve test coverage.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate testing tools.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and provide detailed reports on testing

progress.

Continuously improve testing processes and suggest enhancements.
Document testing processes and maintain clear communication with the QA team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or Test NG.
Experience in the insurance domain is a plus.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life

cycle (STLC).

Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
