Job Summary:
The Logistics Executive in Promea is responsible for managing and coordinating the logistics operations, ensuring efficient and timely distribution of Promea's finished goods. They will oversee the transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes to meet customer requirements and optimize supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee the end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and sales, to ensure timely and accurate order processing and delivery.
- Manage transportation activities, including arranging shipments, coordinating with freight forwarders and carriers, and tracking shipment progress.
- Optimize transportation routes, modes, and costs while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards.
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of pharmaceutical products.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to meet customer demands while minimizing holding costs and stockouts.
- Implement and maintain effective inventory management practices, including batch tracking, expiration management, and FIFO (First-In, First-Out) rotation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, such as Good Distribution Practices (GDP), and maintain accurate documentation and records.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, such as on-time delivery, order fill rate, and inventory accuracy, and implement improvement initiatives.
- Identify and resolve logistics-related issues, including transportation delays, customs clearance, and quality concerns.
- Evaluate and select logistics service providers, negotiate contracts, and establish service level agreements.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics operations, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Solid understanding of logistics processes, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to pharmaceutical logistics, such as Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
- Proficiency in using logistics management systems and software for order tracking, inventory management, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze logistics data, identify trends, and implement improvement measures.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing logistics-related documentation and records.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) for data analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of customs regulations, international trade, and import/export procedures is a plus.
