We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Architect, you will assist in the design, development, and execution of architectural projects from concept to completion. You will collaborate with senior architects and project teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality designs that meet client specifications and comply with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities:
Design Support:
Assist in the development of architectural concepts and designs.
Prepare detailed architectural drawings, renderings, and models (2D and 3D) using CAD and BIM software (e.g., Auto CAD, Revit, Sketch Up).
Contribute to the creation of presentation materials for client meetings.
Documentation:
Prepare construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
Ensure architectural documentation is accurate, clear, and meets project specifications.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the project team, including contractors.
Participate in design meetings and client presentations.
Respond to technical queries from contractors and resolve issues during the construction phase.
Research and Compliance:
Conduct research on materials, building codes, and environmental impact.
Ensure that all designs comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and other regulations.
Stay updated on architectural trends, technologies, and best practices.
Site Visits:
Participate in site visits to monitor progress and ensure that construction adheres to architectural plans and specifications.
Assist in addressing any design or construction challenges that arise on-site.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
Up to 2 years of experience in architectural design (internships or entry-level positions can be considered).
Proficiency in architectural design software such as Auto CAD, Revit, Sketch Up, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong understanding of design principles, building codes, and construction materials.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of sustainable design practices is a plus.
