IT Sales Executive

Job Title: IT Sales Executive
Core Competency Requirements:
  • Client Acquisition & Lead Generation – Proactively identify and approach potential clients in need of IT solutions.
  • Sales Process Management – Confidently guide prospects through the entire sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Account Management – Build and nurture strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Market Knowledge – Stay current with IT industry trends and emerging technologies to better serve client needs.
  • Negotiation & Presentation – Present compelling sales pitches, negotiate terms, and secure profitable contracts.
Desired Skills & Experience:
  • Experience: 1-3 years in IT sales, software sales, or related field.
  • Technical Understanding: Basic knowledge of IT products and services such as software development, digital solutions, mobile apps, and cloud services.
  • Communication & Negotiation: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to negotiate effectively and close deals.
  • Sales Tools: Experience using CRM tools to track sales activities and progress.
  • Client Relationship Management: Ability to maintain client trust through excellent service and strategic solutions.
  • Team Collaboration: Comfortable working with internal teams (technical, marketing) to align sales efforts with company goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:
  • Identify potential clients and new business opportunities in the market.
  • Research industries and companies to target through cold calls, emails, and networking.
2. Sales Presentation & Closing:
  • Conduct product demos and presentations that address client needs.
  • Prepare proposals and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close sales deals.
3. Client Management:
  • Maintain long-term relationships with clients and manage accounts for cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by following up on service delivery and resolving any concerns.
4. Collaboration & Strategy:
  • Work closely with internal teams (marketing, technical) to tailor solutions to client requirements.
  • Provide market feedback and suggestions to improve service offerings.
5. Sales Reporting & Tracking:
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline in CRM tools.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and revenue targets.
