Indirect Tax - Audit & Compliance Support
HP is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Indirect Tax expert to join our APJ transaction tax team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of indirect tax regulations, experience with ERP systems, and a proven track record in compliance frameworks. This role involves providing required data and documents to tax authorities on a timely basis, explaining tax positions to mitigate exposure, and strengthening the compliance process to ensure audit readiness.

Audit Support:
- Assist in preparing for and responding to tax audits by providing required data and documents to tax authorities.
- Explain tax positions and data to auditors to mitigate potential tax exposures.
- Develop and implement processes to ensure audit readiness and strengthen the compliance framework.
- Utilize ERP systems (e.g., SAP) to provide tax-related data & documents.
- Collaborate with IT and finance teams to resolve any tax-related issues in the ERP system.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance tax compliance and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of tax processes and procedures.
- Provide training and support to finance and business teams on indirect tax matters.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in indirect tax compliance and reporting.
- Strong understanding of indirect tax regulations and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP S4)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
