Job description About the role: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven HOD Sales to head our sales team in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, with excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing a team of sales representatives, and driving revenue growth. Objectives:
Achieve sales targets and revenue growth for the Central India.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.
Analyze sales data and market trends to identify new opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Manage a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and support.
Set sales targets and quotas for individual team members and the team as a whole.
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets.
Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Negotiate and close deals.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
Prepare sales reports and forecasts.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
7+ years of experience in sales (experience in edutech sales is a plus)
Proven track record of success in achieving sales targets.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
