In addition to being a vibrant café, Aves hosts a variety of art and language workshops for students of all ages. We are seeking a passionate and qualified Hindi Teacher to join our team and help students improve their language skills in a fun, engaging environment. Job Responsibilities:
Teach Hindi language and literature to students of varying ages and proficiency levels, from beginners to advanced learners.
Develop and implement effective lesson plans that cover grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, and conversational Hindi.
Conduct interactive and immersive classes to help students improve their Hindi speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
Tailor teaching strategies to meet the individual learning needs and goals of each student.
Encourage students to express themselves confidently in Hindi, promoting language use through role plays, discussions, and creative activities.
Prepare students for academic exams, language certifications, and other assessments as needed.
Organize and participate in cultural events, workshops, and Hindi-related activities within the café.
Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing regular feedback and suggestions for improvement.
Collaborate with the café team to integrate language learning with other art and cultural programs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hindi, Education, or a related field.
Proven experience (1-3 years) teaching Hindi to students in a classroom or one-on-one setting.
Strong command of Hindi grammar, vocabulary, literature, and language teaching methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
Experience working with students from diverse age groups, including children, teens, and adults.
Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching Hindi as a second language.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with different Hindi language teaching techniques, including immersive and interactive methods.
Experience in preparing students for language proficiency exams or certifications.
Ability to incorporate cultural elements such as Hindi literature, film, and music into lessons to enhance the learning experience.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage lesson plans, evaluations, and student progress reports.
Experience organizing language-related events, such as Hindi poetry recitations, debates, and cultural workshops.
