Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Documentation:
- Create, update, and maintain technical documentation using Word and Excel.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and reflects current IT systems and procedures.
- Operating System Installation and Management:
- Install and configure operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and Mac OS.
- Manage hypervisors and virtual environments effectively.
- System Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Perform regular system updates and troubleshoot issues related to Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware problems for PCs, laptops, and servers.
- Address internet, Wi-Fi, and router issues promptly.
- Software and Hardware Maintenance:
- Install and configure software, hardware, and network components.
- Conduct regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Vendor Coordination:
- Follow up with vendors for support and service requests.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Email and IT Support:
- Provide support for email platforms including Gmail, Go Daddy, and Outlook.
- Troubleshoot and resolve email-related problems efficiently.
- Security and Efficiency:
- Ensure the security and efficiency of the IT infrastructure.
- Implement and manage antivirus solutions to protect systems from threats.
- Backup and Restore:
- Perform daily local and cloud backups of user devices and servers.
- Restore files and data as needed to ensure business continuity.
- System Monitoring:
- Monitor system performance and address any software or hardware problems.
- Maintain a proactive approach to prevent potential issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in installing and managing Windows, Linux, and Mac OS operating systems.
- Experience with hypervisors and virtual environments.
- Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting for PCs, laptops, and servers.
- Familiarity with network troubleshooting including internet, Wi-Fi, and routers.
- Ability to create and maintain technical documentation.
- Experience with email support for platforms like Gmail, Go Daddy, and Outlook.
- Understanding of IT fundamentals and security practices, including antivirus management.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Rotational shift
- System administration: 1 year (Required)
- Hardware Technician: 1 year (Required)
